March On

Hello!! I'm still here! January has been crazy! And busy. And full of unexpected events. I was finally able to take a small breather earlier this week when my kiddo came down with the flu and had to stay home from school for a few days. But now he's on the mend and it seems like life has resumed somewhat back to normal and back into high gear.

I wish I could say that I could stay and chat a little longer but I've got a hat to knit up. By tomorrow. You know, for an event called the Women's March on Washington. To show my support.

But before I take off to knit up a hat storm, here's a pro-tip that I picked up from Julia of Knitterly Things: that plastic bread tag you see hanging off of my knitting in the photo above? Use it to wind your cast-on tail with to keep it neat and tidy and out of the way!! Especially perfect for when you need a longer than usual tail so that you can sew a seam with.

Brilliant, right? I thought so too!
