Happy Halloween!

"It's Alive!"
Carved by Brett Ketler

Happy Halloween Miso Friends!!   I hope you are all doing well!  I just wanted to quickly pop in and say hello, tell you that I'm still kickin' around, and that I am (very s.l.o.w.l.y) catching up on everything.  If I owe you an email, please forgive me in advance for taking so long!  I have the worst (re: non-existent) spam filter and have to go through the junk in order to get to the real emails.  But I'll get there, I promise!

I'm also trying to heal up from the horrific cough that I had over the weekend at Knit City (those of you with eagle eyes probably noticed that I was inhaling the Fisherman's Friends like no tomorrow!), but I'm thoroughly enjoying the much needed little break from the rotary cutter and sewing machine!  I'm even getting a little knitting done and not feeling at all guilty about it!!  Actually, it's been pure bliss to be able to go to bed at a decent time, to wake up later than normal, to not feel like I need to immediately kick it into sweatshop mode the second the Munchkin leaves for school, and to laze about the house without a worry in the world.  It's been so nice to be able to stick around a little longer at the kiddo's school to help out in the classroom rather than needing to get home as soon as possible to milk every second there is in the school day, but most of all, it's been absolutely wonderful to be able to settle down, put my feet up, and actually enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea) and my knitting!  Seriously, you wouldn't believe how incredible it has been to be able to enjoy such small pleasures!

Anyhoo, I have a ton of blog posts planned for November - including this month's Obsessions since once again it's late!  Oops!  Where does the time go?  So stay tuned for my Knit City recap, knits, and a few giveaways, just to name a few things planned!

In the meantime, I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!!  ♥

  1. I saw a peek of your Knit City booth on a photo in Jane Richmond's Knit City post of yesterday - looked awesome! Congrats on getting all those cute project bags sewn up and ready to sell. Looking forward to hearing all about it.
