Yesterday Amanda and Fiona, the lovely ladies of Knit Social, had announced the Knit City 2013 class and vendor line-up. And let me tell you, the class and instructor line-up is pretty darn awesome. I mean, Yarn Harlot?? Wise Hilda (aka Kate Atherley)?? Holli Yeoh?? Kim Werker?? Did I mention THE Yarn Harlot?? Cause yeah, she's going to be there. When I found out that she'll be at this year's Knit City, I almost lost it. I've been dying to go to one of her lectures. Would hand over my stash to take one of her classes. I would do anything to just be in her presence and to breathe in her knitterly aura in hopes that maybe it'll rub off on me. Ok...that last one sounded a little creepy. But you know what I mean...right?
Right?!?
Well, creepiness aside, this year's Knit City is going to be amazeballs. And now that everything is official, I can finally come clean with my little secret. Guess what guys? Who's short, Asian, sews project bags, and will be a vendor at Knit City? ME!!
I'm so incredibly excited!! And now you know why I've been oh so quiet on the blog as of late. I know a lot of you were wondering why I was so stressed out about sewing up stock for Fibrations, well, I was secretly sewing bags for both events! I'll definitely have a selection of both small and large zippered box project bags, as well as drawstring bags. I'm hoping to have a small selection of small zippy pouches and a few other goodies as well! If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, you'll be able to catch a few glimpses of some of the fabrics, bags, and other fun treats that I will have in my booth.
