Brett has been a busy bee these past few weeks planning and carving up pumpkins. My friend Jeremy had invited Brett onto his radio show last week to talk about pumpkin carving, and while the music played Brett carved a pumpkin in the studio. And the pumpkin you see in the photo above? He carved that one last week too for a contest held by a local brewery. He also took the time to carve a pumpkin with the Munchkin over the weekend that was more kid friendly:
Ok, so Brett did all the work and the Munchkin sat there and played with Play-Doh. The Munchkin absolutely loves it. Another carving that Brett did this year:
I absolutely love this pumpkin, mainly because I love Breaking Bad. I was hoping to convince Brett to carve a Predator pumpkin but he wasn't up for it. Hmm...maybe I can get him to do it next year?
Brett did one last pumpkin carving of the year last night:
The teeth and the eyes totally creep me out!!
Anyhoo, I've got to see if my little one is willing to put on his costume and then off to preschool we go! If you and your little ones (or maybe just you?) head out to go trick-or-treating tonight, stay safe and stay warm!!
♥ Happy Halloween!! ♥
Your hubby does an awesome job on carving pumpkins!!
ReplyDeleteI usually start out all gun hoe then lose interest after I remove the innards. Then I just half ass it and cut out a crooke mouth, a triangle nose and 2 eyes.
Hahaha thanks Melissa! :)
DeleteI think I'm in the same boat as you, except I usually conk out during the cutting of the opening! So I leave the pumpkin carving to Brett!
