Yarn!!! (At the Everything Old booth at Knit City)

Oops!  Ok, so last week's photos are more than a day late!!  I came back from Knit City late-ish on Sunday night and when I walked in the door not only did my feet and back hurt, but I was EXHAUSTED.  Lugging around the equivalent of a baby elephant on my back for all of Sunday can make your body hurt.  Then on Monday, I was planning on posting the photos but then got sidetracked with household errands.  I was still feeling a bit "hung over" from Knit City and had fallen asleep shortly after I had put the kiddo to bed.  I'm such a party animal.  Who goes to bed at 8pm??  Apparently I do.

Anyhoo, I think things are kind of back to normal.  I'm still trying to figure out a routine that will work for me and my family that will allow for me to get things done.  I also have a few FOs to show you all, and I know some people are curious as to how Knit City went.  In due time, my Friends, in due time!

For now, I'm going to go make some tea and try to tackle this mountain of laundry that's been waiting since before the weekend!

  1. You are an evil woman! I had to get some sock yarn made for a friend, and thoughts that custom dyed striped socks would be a treat. So I thought about your gorgeous striped socks and went of to Everything Old's etsy site. Not only did she set me up, she asked if there was anything else I wanted. Well...let's just say that some day we might be sock twins (to talk like a 6 year old), because I totally had to get stripes like yours. Just gorgeous stuff.

    1. I'm so glad that you like the tea Rebecca! And you should totally cast on a pair of socks! Never hurts to have mindless knitting on the needles...and something for yourself! Right?? ;)
