Pay It Forward...Handmade Styles

Hey!  Want some handmade goodness from yours truly??  I saw this meme on Sam's blog (owlmazing makes) and have seen similar ones around the blogosphere and Facebook, and have always wanted to join in on the fun...but never did.  And I really don't know why.  Well, the opportunity is here again and this time I'm going to just jump on it.  After all, you're given a year to complete your end of the bargain.  Totally do-able, right?  I think so!

So want to play along?  Here's the deets:

I will send a surprise gift to the first three commenters on this post.  The gift will be handmade by me.  It will be sent sometime in the next 365 days.  It will be a surprise.  We all love getting surprises in the mail, right?
  1. In your comment, tell me your two favourite colours (that will help me make an appropriate gift).
  2. To sign up and receive a gift, you must play along too.  Pay It Forward on your blog, by promising to make a surprise for the first three people who comment on the post.
  3. You must have a blog (that is updated, as I will blog stalk you to find the right gift for you).
  4. After commenting here, you must re-post this or something similar to your blog in 48 hours.  If not, I will chose the next person who comments...
Yay!  So much fun!  I can't wait to see who wants to play!  ♥

Oh, I have a disclaimer though...I'm well aware that the majority of my readers are knitters but there are a lot of you who aren't.  So don't worry, I don't plan on making all my gifts project bags!!  I love all sorts of crafts, so my gifts could be something knitted, sewn, woven, painted...I promise though, I won't make you suffer by giving you something I've crocheted (my skills in that department are sorely lacking!).

PS: I'll also need a way to contact you!  So either leave your email or Ravelry ID, that way I can find out where to send the crafty goodness to!

I love how all three of you are all into yellow! I've been looking to add more yellow into my crafting too! So serendipitous!

    2. Actually I goofed... I would totally love to be a part of this but I posted my comment before reading the rules and I don't have a blog. Sorry! My bad! Still an awesome idea though! After your handmade goodies are received will you post details on the blog? We can live vicariously through the lucky participants!

  5. I love this idea. I've never heard of it before, but it's a great one.

I'll keep my eyes peeled from now on, but I'm kinda glad I was a little late for this one as I already have a lot of other projects and people to make things for.

But it would be fun to do something like this!

    1. It's definitely a unique idea, and I can't wait to finally take part! I was hesitant to do it as I too have a lot on my plate. But I figured having a year to make and send out the goods is something I can handle. I find things like these usually come in waves, so I'm sure when your hands are less full another round will start up again! :)
